recipe categories / seafood / fish Cedar Plank Salmon with Peach Habanero Glaze Courtesy of My H-E-B Texas Life Magazine Ingredients: 1 H-E-B Cedar Plank 2 tablespoons H-E-B Texas Originals™ Seafood Seasoning 1 (2 pound) Whole Wild Alaskan Sockeye Salmon 2 tablespoons H-E-B Olive Oil 2 containers (2 oz. each) H-E-B Peach Habanero Splash Directions: 1 Soak cedar plank in warm water for 1 hour. 2 Arrange charcoal on one side of the grill. Line the other side with heavy duty foil. Heat charcoal 40 minutes or until coals are ashen. 3 Sprinkle seafood seasoning over the salmon fillet and set aside on a tray. 4 Sprinkle the soaked cedar plank with the seafood seasoning and heat the plank on grill with cover down until it begins to smoke. Remove the hot cedar plank and place the seasoned salmon, skin-side-down on the hot cedar plank. 5 Brush salmon with olive oil, place on the indirect heat side of the grill, cover and grill for 10 minutes. Open grill, brush salmon fillet with one container of the H-E-B Peach Habanero Splash, cover grill and grill salmon 5 more minutes. Arrange the grilled salmon on a platter and serve with additional Peach Habanero Splash.
